Macmillan Coffee Morning 2026

BGGS Staff run an annual Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer support.  This year's event raised a staggering £818.78 for the charity, (£553.78 at the event on site and £265.00 additional, online donations).

Everyone who organised or took part in this event are absolute heroes, but special mentions must go to:

• staff who worked with students on advertising and promotion for the event.

• the amazing Chai ladies, (raising £51.00)

• the organisers and Chief Taste Testers for the Great Bordesley Bake Off!

• the individuals who added extra bling to the award for the Bake Off

• everyone who baked, donated or bought cakes

• our school librarian, for hosting the event

• our prize winning baker who took the trophy for the Bake Off with their home made cake.
