Pastoral Year Lead (Fixed term contract ending on 31/08/2024)

Grade 4 (Point 23 – 31), FTE salary: £30,151 - £37,261 pro rata per annum

Full-time: 36.5 hours per week; Term-time only plus 5 days

The Governing body are seeking to recruit a Pastoral Year Lead who is an excellent practitioner with a passion for supporting students. The role we are offering is to lead the provision of pastoral care of pupils in your Year Group to secure excellent teaching so all pupils achieve their potential within an atmosphere in which pupils feel challenged, valued and secure and to assist the Headteacher and the Leadership Team in the overall management and development of the school.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – be bright and interested in students, displaying a genuine warmth for them
  • An awareness and working experience of the challenges facing young people today
  • Excellent communication skills with a “can-do” attitude
  • An ability to work within a team and independently
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT Skills, including excel and word etc

20 hours per week, Term Time Only, Permanent to start as soon as possible 

 

We wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Technician to join our school. The post holder will be required to provide general and specialist technical support within the curriculum area and support teachers in facilitating and encouraging learning which enables students to achieve high standards and to become independent learners.

 

We are looking for a Design & Technology Technician who has: 

  • A genuine passion for Design Technology
  • The ability to skilfully use a range of tools, equipment, and machinery
  • The ability to support practical workshop sessions with supervision, practical instruction, and demonstrations
  • The drive and enthusiasm to engage and inspire pupils
