Job Title: Assistant Headteacher – Director of Inclusion (Salary: LAH 13 – 17)

 

Required from: September 2019    Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Bordesley Green Girls’ School and Sixth Form is a high achieving, oversubscribed girls’ school in Birmingham. The Governing Body is currently looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher – Director of Inclusion to lead the school’s provision for students with special educational needs.

The successful candidate:

Will have specialist knowledge and experience of the wide range of specific learning difficulties.

Should hold a specialist qualification such as a post graduate certificate for SENCO or similar qualification equivalent to Level 7 in individual assessments.

Should be familiar with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations regarding the processing of access arrangements for public examinations.

Will also be required to teach small groups of students across the school and be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the School.
