Sixth Form

August 2015 saw our third set of full A Level and Level 3 results. We are very pleased with our results and our students have achieved grades which have enabled them to progress onto universities, such as the University of Birmingham and University of Leicester, and competitive courses, such as Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery,Pharmacy, Law, History, English Literature, Business Management and Education (please download a list of destinations from the link below).

Prospective students have the opportunity to visit our state of the art Sixth Form building and facilities, talk to staff and students about subjects/courses on offer and life in our Sixth Form.

   Entry Requirements for September 2016
  • Deadline for submission of applications (via UCAS Progress www.ucas.com/ucas/after-gcses) - Friday 16th December 2016 ( including applications from Bordesley Green Girls' School students)
  • Interviews – January 2017 to February 2017. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements will not be invited for an interview.
  • Induction day for conditional offer applicants – Friday 30th June 2017.
  • GCSE/Level 2 results issued to students - Thursday 24th August 2017, AM.
  • Enrolment for conditional offer applicants - Thursday 24th August 2017, AM for Bordesley Green Girls' School applicants and PM for external applicants.
  • Enrolment for waiting list applicants and open enrolment for non applicants (subjects to availability) - Friday 25th August 2017, AM.

Sixth Form Uniform Policy

 Students are expected to wear smart casual dress with closed sensible shoes.
 It is not permitted to cover the face.

 Educational Visits

 Students are expected to participate and attend educational visits (both on site and off site)
 including those developing Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural skills.
