PHSE Enrichment Day 2019
We recently held one of our regular Enterprise and Enrichment days (E&E Days) where we suspend the normal timetable for the day and pupils work together to learn about a particular theme.
The latest E&E Day focused on issues relating to personal welfare and wellbeing as part of our PHSE curriculum. Lessons were delivered by a mixture of external agencies and our own BGGS staff to give students a wide range of views and expertise.
Students and staff said they valued the chance to explore the topics featured in the day and feedback from all Year Groups was good.
Each Year Group followed a slightly different, age appropriate, agenda for the day:

The day covered a wide range of topics from financial awareness, where students were exploring issues around debt, borrowing and looking at employment, budgeting and banking, to sessions about respecting other cultures, where issues of identity and race were explored and the benefits of diversity discussed.
