Dear Mrs Woodfield
Quality Award in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) Gold Standard
I am absolutely delighted to tell you that the Quality Award Accreditation Board met on 1st July 2015 and unanimously agreed that Bordesley Green Girls' School & Sixth Form should be accredited with the Gold Standard Quality Award for your CEIAG provision.
The Gold award is only given for outstanding, innovative and embedded provision. It is a real achievement, so many congratulations. Thanks to all the staff for their participation and hard work, particularly to Sue Hughes. You may like to know that Bordesley Green Girls' School & Sixth Form is the first Birmingham institution to receive this award at the highest, gold level. Of equal note – your school was awarded this Gold Standard at the very first attempt, recognising that CEIAG has been at a consistently high standard and is embedded throughout school life.
We shall be arranging for your special framed certificate to be produced shortly, and will also email the gold version of the logo to Sandra, for use on your paperwork or website if you wish.
This Gold Award stands for 3 years until July 2018. In addition, please be aware that Bordesley Green Girls' School & Sixth Form is one of only 8 institutions currently accredited with this Gold Standard Quality Award which meets the exacting validation criteria of the national Quality in Careers Standard.
Once again, many congratulations on the Award and thanks to all staff and students for their participation.
